ANNOUNCING THE DEBUT ALBUM FROM CHRISTOPHER TIN! Calling All Dawns is the working title for Christopher's debut album, due to be released in the fall of 2007. The concept album is a collection of 12 songs in 12 different languages that tell a modern-day myth about life, death and rebirth. Building off the immense popularity of his hit song 'Baba Yetu,' Calling All Dawns draws from a number of literary sources--Japanese haiku, Maori proverbs, Persian poetry, the Torah, Catholic hymns, and many others--to form a rough narrative about the universality of human belief. The album will be recorded at Sir George Martin's AIR Studios in London with the London Studio Orchestra, as well as a special 60-piece international choir formed specifically for the project, a wealth of ethnic percussion, and a collection of international soloists.
